45LC is no slouch, as it was originally designed with the US Cavalry in mind, and thus is capable of dropping a horse when fired from a Revolver. 45LC loads, even Ruger doesn't approve of shooting them through their beefy Revolvers anymore. Very few guns are designed/rated for overpressure.
45 Long Colt only, none of those so-called '+P' overpressure loads.
